It is an honor to introduce another PnPAuthor: Marianne Petit~

Marianne hasn't been with PnPAuthors Promotions for a long time, but it has been long enough that we know it is an honor to have her part of our Authors Team at PnPAuthors Promotions where authors support authors.

Marianne has been busy. She is a talented writer who has written four books. PnPAuthors VP, Pattimari, has read one of her books and she still today, brags about Marianne's book. She says Marianne is an excellent writer. One who has good descriptions, and well build characters in her book, but I will let you be the judge of that when you buy one of her books and read it.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I live on Long Island, New York. I have been writing since high school but got serious after my father died suddenly and I realized life is too short to put off doing what you love. I am married. I have two sons and new grandson. I love to go to Broadway shows. I love to horseback ride, whitewater raft, and garden. I belong to the Melville Lions, a charity organization that helps our community. Our focus is the sight impaired, but we donate our time and money to all those who need our help worldwide.

What was the most difficult part of writing your book?

For me it’s the editing and going over and over the manuscript. I always think I have to go over it one more time, trying to reach perfection, and it’s hard to let it go because I worry that I missed something.

What are you working on now?

I just finished a love story set in 1940 France. The title is Behind the Mask. My characters get involved with the French resistance. It’s fiction mixed with experiences my mother and father went through living in France during WW2.

What blogs do you belong to and are they blogs that support you book.

I don’t go to many blogs since most of my time is spent writing, researching or visiting writer’s sites like this one and linkedin.

What is the address to your book?

When did you join PnPAuthor?

I just joined in April, so I’m a bit of a newbie and still have to cruise the different sections, but it looks great!

When did you write your first book?

About 1996. It was published in 2001

Tell a little about your book….

Well, in the Amulet of Darkness, my heroine, Cyrenne, has pledged her life to the deity of the forest. She has vowed to remain chaste and to live with her sister’s in arms. When her comrades die in battle she blames herself for their deaths and vows not to return home until she redeems herself. She sets out on a journey of redemption.

My hero, Gareth, hates all deities. He has no use for a woman dedicated to those he has set out to destroy. When Cyrenne saves his life, they set out on a journey that takes them through uncharted mystical territories where love teeters on the edge of danger.
